It seemed just like yesterday when we were at the Disney Coronado Springs resort for the MAC Tool Fair, but this time around, Launch Tech USA was there to support ISN and the independent tool dealer. Having recently re-acquired Launch’s professional line of scan tools, it was surely good timing that we were there to inform the attendees about the latest and greatest Launch has to offer.

 

We brought our 10x10 booth display, as well as the X431 Standard, TOOL, CRecorder and CReader IV for demo. And also the Autobook—to see what response it would get. To say the least, it was very well received. There is definitely a niche to fill in the mid-line scanner market, and with the same manufacturer base as the X431, folks were amazed at the smaller, handheld Autobook. Although it does not offer the module coding capabilities as its bigger brothers, the Autobook, with its portability and large touch screen display, caught the attention of the crowd.

 

We also bumped into old friends, Tom Williamson and partners JS Products. Although attendance was down compared to last year, we all agreed that the independent tool dealer is still a strong market and overall, the show was worth doing for them.
